Why Worthen's Mercentile?

Why call my shop Worthen's Mercentile? Set yourself down a minute and I'll explain. My family started running a little country store in 1923, my Great-Grandpa Worthen took charge in 1935. He built a new, beautiful store that was a vital part of our town. Unfortunatley my family had to close our store in the late 70s, but the beautiful building is still a part of our family and serves as a giant family room, located right next to our ancestral home. I don't live in our hometown right now, but it is an integral part of me. If it was feasible to open our store again I would, but right now I'm doing the second best thing, running an online tribute to the store and my family.
